COURSE OVERVIEW
BTEC Extended Diploma in Performing Arts Practice (Dance) is a two-year course that involves the study of a range of dance skills development, dance and performing arts industries and collaborative live performance.
The extended diploma is equivalent in size to three A Levels.

Due to our Funding Body restrictions, we can only accept applications for BTEC study from students who live in the North-West region of England. For further information about our eligibility criteria please email our admissions team who can provide further advice and guidance.
A minimum of four GCSEs at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent) to include English (Literature or Language) and Maths

After the Post-16 course, students can progress via many different routes.
The following are what students may go on to do:
Study for a Dance Performance degree with us at LMA Liverpool or LMA London
Study at an alternative University
Professional dance work within a live or recorded medium
Performing and teaching after further education
