Sadler’s Wells East is part of the new East Bank cultural precinct in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The theatre is located next to the London Aquatics Centre and BBC Studios, and opposite the London Stadium.

Tickets:
All LMA students that are graduating in July 2026, do not need a ticket for the ceremony, you just need to report to the sign in desk on arrival on graduation day.

Please be aware that graduation attendance is subject to passing assessments and completing a degree by the completion of the spring boards.
You and your guests are strongly advised to secure your tickets prior to committing to travel and/or accommodation plans.

If you're graduating, you should give yourself enough time to register, collect and fit your cap & gown and grab any photos prior to the ceremony.
If you're attending as a guest, you will need to show your ticket on arrival. Please arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes before the ceremony is due to start.
Any latecomers risk missing their ceremony, so make sure you give yourself plenty of time.
We do not provide cloakroom facilities on site. For graduates, we recommend that you leave any personal belongings with family members during the ceremony, or you leave your belongings under your allocated seat at your ceremony. Please note; it is your responsibility to look after your things, and we are not liable for the loss of any personal belongings.

If you're graduating, when you arrive at the main entrance at Sadler’s Wells East you'll be asked to register with the LMA team. They will instruct you on where to go to collect your cap and gown and where to go for photographs.
When you're called to walk across the stage, you'll be asked to give the card to one of our graduation team members.

You can book a slot with the professional photographer before the ceremony. When you book your cap and gown online you will get the chance to select photography or not.
Please note you can take photos and videos before, during or after the ceremony.

There is no seating plan for guests, so if you're a guest you may sit anywhere apart from the reserved seating area for graduates.

The Master of Ceremonies will provide graduates and guests with some brief instructions at the start of the event.
LMA staff will let you know when it's your turn to walk across the stage and receive your certificate.

You will be asked to leave row by row after the Academic Procession. Then you'll make your way to reception for drinks and outside for more photographs.
